TaraSpan, Canada’s leading provider of technology-enabled solutions into the India marketplace, today announced that one of India’s largest IT-enabled services companies has chosen TaraSpan to provide a cloud-based workforce development solution to thousands of its employees to improve communications skills of new and lateral hires.
The TaraSpan e-learning solution combines the Ascentify eSuite workforce development platform from Ottawa-based Ascentify with content development and publishing services, instructor-led training across 12 cities in India. Performance analytics are an integral component to the solution that will provide insight into to a wide range of training and assessment activities to allow continuous improvement of both verbal and written communication skills of candidates.

TaraSpan is awarded with an ISO 9001 :2008 certificate by SWISS CERT for its Quality Management System. The scope of the work included the assessment of processes in the area of sales, installation, support and maintenance of unified communication, video conferencing, talent development, customer experience management and RF systems. The representatives of SWISS CERT assessed the whole process over a period of time and found it satisfactory. The certificate validates TaraSpan’s continuous efforts towards delivering high quality services to our customers.
TaraSpan participated in Connect14 held at the Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi on 11 October 2014. The convention was organized by the British Business Group, Delhi bringing together British and Indian business leaders and policy-makers to consider the business opportunities that exist in India.
At the event, TaraSpan exhibited and showcased its Corporate Advisory Services to UK businesses delegates, educating them about how to establish business in India. The highlight of the event was the “Doing business in India”, a seminar hosted by UKIBC.
Emphasizing the importance of business-ties between the UK and India, Dr. Cable said, “Britain and India have long enjoyed a strong, collaborative business relationship – demonstrated by the fact that we are their largest investor in the G20, accounting for around 30% of their annual investment.” He also announced a number of new, cross-border business ventures.
TaraSpan is exhibiting this year at CeBIT which is happening for the first time in India in Bengaluru, the silicon valley of India. The exhibition cum conference takes place at Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) between 12th-14th November. TaraSpan will be exhibiting at stall C-55 in hall-2. The theme of our stall is “SMAC Convergence and the Enterprises of Tomorrow” through which we would showcase how the convergence of social media, mobility, big data, and cloud technologies is disrupting the technology landscape and how TaraSpan is at the middle of it with its suite of business productivity enhancement solutions. We’re setting up Unified Collaboration, Talent Development, and Customer Experience Management experience centers at our stall.
Once again TaraSpan will be an active participant at the Canada-India Business Forum. This year’s Forum takes place in Mumbai on November 28 and 29, 2013.
